COORDINATOR FOR EUROPEAN BOOK FAIR „BOOK ON STAGE“
Book on Stage:
European Book Festival „Book on Stage“ aims to bring contemporary literature back into a living public space, positioning it as an active social practice through dialogue, exchange, and direct encounters between authors, publishers, and audiences. The programme consists of book fair, live literary events, online podcasts recordings and side programme including evening concerts, kid´s corner or typography-focused exhibition.
The festival will take place in the Czech House in Belgrade from 17 to 19 April 2026. The main organizers are EUNIC Serbia cluster and Blum publishing house.
Requirements for the position: ability to provide the invoice issued by Serbian legal body Serbian (B2/C1), English languages (B2/C1) perfect organizational skills systematic work during the preparation of the festival strict adherence to the deadlines advanced office skills (contractual and short understandable emails, Google drive, Googledocuments, Microsoft office etc.) Job description: communication and close cooperation with EUNIC members and representatives of BLUM publishing house coordination of publishers, local and international guests, performers and volunteers communcations with publishing houses, designers, vendors and other external bodies overall logistics physical presence and coordination on the spot during the book festival all necessary administrative task before, during and after the festival working period: 03 – 04/2026
Offering: reimbursment 1500 EUR netto expanding experience in the field of cultural diplomacy valuable contacts with numerous European embassies and cultural institutes as well as publishing houses from Serbia Please send your motivation letter to ccbeograd@czechcentres.cz by February 13 2026, 12noon.
